Café Film was founded in 2002 to produce the feature film titled KONTROLL, directed by Nimrod Antal. The film was the most successful Hungarian movie in cinemas in 2003 and has won several awards at International Film Festivals. Most of the European countries has distributed Kontroll, and it has continued its success on the American continent as well. The managing director of Café Film is Tamás Hutlassa. He has worked on TV and Feature Film productions since the ‘80s, such as ‘Linda’, ‘Privát kopó’, ‘A miniszter félrelép’ and ‘Kontroll’. Based on the expertise and contacts we have established over the past years, we work as a fully-fledged audiovisual production company not only for the Hungarian Market but we are offering Production Services to foreign film production crews. Our knowledge and experience cover all major audiovisual segments like Commercial, Feature, TV drama, Documentaries and TV program production. We work with recognized Hungarian film professionals and our regular film crew is experienced in realizing International production requirements. As a public utility activity Tamas Hutlassa has founded the Hungarian Film Poster Exhibition and Competition in 2003. Our company organizes the exhibition every year during the Hungarian Film Week.
